Screen Cover separating from front bezel outer shell cover at small corner near hinge. (Top back and front bezel split apart) Joint hinge affects the separation. Clear tape keeping it from separating to be able to open and close. Asus says it can be sent in to be fixed. A computer repair store can possibly fix it as well. Parts are available online.

The computer still works perfectly fine. It does not affect the actual screen or keep the computer from functioning.

I believe it needs to be plugged in to stay on.

So it may need a new battery.
