BE SURE TO CHECK AND KEEP CHECKING MY OTHER LISTINGS. CLEARING OUT LOTS OF VINTAGE AND JAPANESE DENIM, LEATHER, WORKWEAR AND FASHION.

NWT from the early 70s. Note the rodeo champions on the flasher tag. Broken twill but detail the same as late 60s post-Blue Bell, left hand twill jeans. Quality on these is actually better than post-Blue Bell 60's Wranglers, in that these have triple stitching on the felled seams.

Even though the jeans didn't have a visible selvedge line like the period jackets, Wrangler used selvedge denim on their jeans from the 1950s into the 1970s. It was woven in a shuttle loom, with ring spun warp and weft, the denim used certainly had a "self edge".

As with Levi Strauss, Blue Bell didn't change to projectile looms until the later 1970s.

So the denim here has similar character to Levi's from the same period. Note a fade sample in the pictures.  I prefer it to repro denim like TCB (who recently did a Wrangler inspired line) Sugar Cane, and even, Full Count and Warehouse.

Clearing out stuff I'll never wear, due to fit, etc. Would keep these, but the waist is actually 32, so I doubt I'll fit into them anytime soon.

Will be around sporadically the next few weeks. I'll try to ship ASAP but please allow 7-10 days, as I may be traveling.
