This is a 7th print of the First Comics graphic novel / trade paperback Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collection, with color reprints of issues 1-3.

Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird created TMNT in 1983 and self-published the first few issues beginning in 1984 out of an in-home company, “Mirage Studios.” The original books were black and white and relatively “gritty,” as befitted the times — the turtles did not joke around, did not eat pizza, and the Foot Clan they fought were not robots. In 1987, Eastman and Laird licensed their creation for a toy line and cartoon show. The rough edges were smoothed out for younger audiences and a media franchise was born.

First Comics published a TPB collection of the original run of 12 issues, 3 books at a time in four volumes. This is a seventh print of volume 1. It is complete and intact with a clean interior. It shows significant but not distracting west with no major tears or staining. See photos for details.
