Lionel Modern Era 6-8768 Budd RDC "Dummy" Unit - mfg. 1977-78. After 70+ years of operating & collecting Lionel toy trains, I have decided to start selling off my collection. This Item is from my personal collection. This is the last year I'm running & showing our Trains. I once worked for the Budd Instrument Division of Automation Industries, Inc. at their Kimberton, PA Facility. Occasionally I had to go down to their Plant in Philadelphia to do Field Service work. Sperry Rail was also in the same Building. So, this Budd RDC has special meaning to me. I added it to run behind my 400 Budd Motorized Unit to increase the consist. The 400 RDC isn't part of this sale but can be found elsewhere in my Items.
