Hello and welcome to the Textile Trunk! Please follow us on Instagram, we are @textiletrunk ~*~*~~

My goodness do I love this!~ It's an amazing 1920's headdress from the roaring 20's ~ This just make me stop in my tracks when I found it ~ I purchased from a textile dealer and she and I both agree it is from the 1920's , however It came with a dress that was later, perhaps 50's or so made to go with the hat. However the rhinestones do not match so perhaps never went together in the first place! ~ So , our theory was that someone made the matching dress for the headpiece!~ ( the dress is in my store now, it weighs 8 POUNDS due to the rhinestones ! Either way, this flapper girl headpiece is a fabulous textile. The rhinestone encrusted pieces that come down from the head clasp, but I'm not sure how ? in the back ? under the chin? Were they longer? I'm just not sure ~ it's made from rhinestones, sequins , beaded fringe ~ it is a truly fabulous piece! This is a fabulous piece, to see the dress, simply search my store for the word Rhinestones

MEASUREMENTS: I took a measuring tape and laid it all around on the inside and it is about 21 inches around ~ the wonderful embellishment at the top front is about 3 inches tall ~

CONDITION: The front embellishment seems to have been trimmed however it's missing perhaps? There are some sequins missing The inside has age marks and some staining from use. Can you imagine the show?? This textile is not in perfect condition but it's perfectly wonderful, signs of time and use are often inherent in these wonderful antiques ~
