We have two very large collections we are offering for sale here on eBay. One of the collections belonged to my Dad, Jack. He collected matchbook covers for 82 years of his life - right up until the day he passed. He amassed a collection of nearly a million covers mainly from the USA, but many nations of the world are represented in his collection as well.

My wife Jane & I are now undertaking the task of getting as many of these matchbook covers back into the hands of whom they mean the most - family members of those who worked at, owned, or had some connection to the businesses featured on these old time matchbook covers.

We love to hear from people as to why they made a purchase or what a particular cover means to them or their family. It's what makes this endeavor so worthwhile. Knowing a piece of Jack's collection is going back to where it belongs means so much to us.

Jack was part of the matchcover community for nearly 50 years. He was a member of many regional matchcover clubs as well as the Girlie Club & The Rathkamp Matchcover Society. He travelled to many swapfests and conventions over the years. Absolutely loved participating in the auctions! So he'd be happy that some of his covers ended up in the hands of collectors as well.

All of our covers are scanned at a high resolution, leaving every detail of every cover out in the open to be seen by all who view our listings. However, we recognize you may have a question or two you need an answer to. Or a comment you would like to make. All orders go out with some form of tracking. You'll find shipment details in your eBay account. We typically ship same day or next business day.

Most get their items within a short few days, but some have had longer waits than we'd like to see. Unfortunately this is out of our control.

When something goes awry, please contact us directly. We will take care of the issue as quickly as possible. Please do not file an Item Not Received report with eBay before giving us a chance to resolve the issue first.
