This classy coat is a Byck's brand. HISTORY: Byck's was a classy shoe store downtown Louisville, Kentucky in 1920's, in 1925 they began selling quality women's clothing as well as hosiery.  In its day it was a Nordstrom type of store.  A very high end ladies clothing store that was often described as fashion forward and presented trunk shows of current designers.  Byck's was also ahead of the times in being one of the first downtown Louisville stores to have integrated dressing rooms.  When Mr Byck died in 1960 his wife took over.  Through the 70's and 80's they expanded to suburban malls.  In 1991 when Mrs Mary Helen Byck died, they closed ALL stores.

Needless to say this is a RARE FIND, one time sought after high end classy coat!!
