This is a print, called Portrait of a Young

Couple.

It is on a piece of cardboard. The bottom edges show wear & water damage as well as the sides.

Due to the colors of this print it’s really hard to see the water damage, it looks like it’s part of the art.

The edges could be covered by matting the print to have it framed.

Will be shipped flat, in cardboard box.


About the artist:

Sandu Liberman was a Romanian-born Israeli painter known for his depictions of dancers, city life, and nudes. His portraits often feature women in prayer framed by votive candles. Born in 1923 in Yasi, Romania, Liberman began exhibiting his work as a young man. He took part in state-sponsored shows between 1946 and 1953, receiving the gold medal at the International Art Festival of Romania in 1952. Settling in Israel in 1962, he received many commissions from the Israeli Government to paint portraits of high-ranking officials. The artist died in 1977 in Israel.
