From 1841 until his death in 1886, he created numerous pencil drawings and watercolors with landscape views from the Austrian, Bavarian, Italian, French and Swiss Alps, as well as cities, first on his own initiative and later primarily for publications by the KuK Austrian Alpine Club from 1841 until his death in 1886 , villages and castles in the countries of the Danube Monarchy and in Bavaria.
