- A.C. Williams was founded in 1886 by Mr. Adam Clark Williams in Chagrin Falls Ohio.
- Just Three years later a big fire destroyed the Factory. Fire destroyed it again in 1892
- Williams moved the company to Ravenna Ohio. Actual Production Began there in 1893.
- Williams began to provide traveling salesmen with miniature samples of the company’s
- products. A Detroit buyer pointed out the miniatures would make nice toys. Soon
- A.C. Williams was the largest toy and still bank manufacture in the world. The
- Woolworth's Dime Store chain was among the company’s biggest customers.
