-THE WORLD'S GREATEST INSTRUMENTS PLAYED BY THE DON MARSH ORCHESTRA: "Some of the finest musicians in the world are found in Nashville Tennessee and make up a small group of players known as the "String Machine". The most notable soloist found on this album is Katherine Vanesdale playing the "Frist Stradivarius" violin. There are around 500 Stradivari violins in existence today. They were made in the early 18th century and are very unique instruments. This instrument is loaned to the Nashville Symphony by the Frist Foundation and is valued at over 7 million dollars. It is rarely recorded as a solo instrument. Other instruments featured on this album include: the oboe, English horn, guitar, cello, flute, and piano."
