Gemini 10 launched on July 18, 1966, and the crew consisted of Commander John W. Young [1930 2018] and Command Module Pilot Michael Collins [1930 2021]. The mission's primary goal was to rendezvous and docking with an Agena Target Vehicle and perform an EVA which were all successfully completed along with establishing a high-altitude record of 412 nautical miles. Listed for auction is an impressive display which contains the authenticated autographs of the Gemini 10 crew. The display is centered around a striking color photograph of the Gemini 10 crew. The photograph is a quality color image which measures 8.00 x 9.00 inches. Mounted below are the autographs of John W. Young and Michael Collins. The autograph of John W. Young is signed ''John Young'' in black felt pen [2.50 x 2.25 inches displayed] on a postal cover. The autograph of Michael Collins is signed ''with appreciation for your work on the Gemini Series Michael Collins'' in black ink [5.00 x 2.25 inches displayed] on a page. The autographs are all bold, display wonderfully and were reviewed and authenticated by Zarelli Space Authentication and will be accompanied with the above Letter of Authenticity. Mounted below is a Gemini 10 Mission patch along with a professionally engraved plaque which reads as follows. Gemini 10 Mission - John W. Young - Michael Collins - The Gemini 10 Mission was flown by commander John W. Young and pilot Michael Collins. The mission's primary goals were to achieve rendezvous and docking with a previously launched vehicle the Agena Target Vehicle and perform an EVA. The mission lasted sixty-one hours and completed two EVA's by Michael Collins, a successful rendezvous and docking along with setting a new high attitude record. The display has been professionally framed and assembled in all acid free materials as follows. Each item has been triple matted in a cream linen outer matte and accented with a silver and a blue inner matte. The display has been completed in a quality ornate silver wood frame to the dimensions of 30.00 x 17.00 inches. The display is very attractive and a nice addition for any astronaut collection.
