Universal 7-pin N-type socket designed to connect and power the 24V electrical system in semi-trailers, heavy-duty trailers and other heavy vehicles. It ensures a permanent connection of the semi-trailer's electrical system with the towing vehicle, guaranteeing uninterrupted operation of the available functions (e.g. lighting). The 7-pin 24V connector is currently the most common system for making electrical connections between trailers and tractors for normal applications. It consists of an N-type connector (black housing) performing lighting functions and an S-type connector (white housing) performing additional functions.
