1978 MERLIN The Electronic Wizard Parker Brothers Toy With Box Adapter Plug

Please review pictures closely as no returns are accepted- in original box with instructions and plug in adapter.

NOTE- the device itself has a crack across the battery compartment lid and corrosion in the battery area. I tried running it only on batteries and it wouldn't start - not sure if the connections just need more of a cleaning or if it's something else.

When plugged in with the adapter, it fires up and works - the red light on the #1 spot is burnt out - all the other lights work. Instructions and box as shown.
