Lionel - Post War 154 Automatic Highway Signal, OB (Original Box), mfg 1954-66 and a 252 Crossing Gate, OB (Original Box), mfg 1950-63. Also included: Depotronics Flasher Plus, Lionel "Trigger" Track (insulated outer rail). After 70+ years of operating & collecting Lionel toy trains, I have decided to start selling off my collection. This Item is from my personal collection. This is the last year I'm running & showing our Train Layout. I bought this Item at a Train Show sometime around 2010. This Item has always performed well on our layout!!

Note: I'm offering this as a complete operational set. Watch video. It shows me pushing a boxcar into a Trigger Track. Once the front wheels hit this section of track, it triggers the Depotronics Flasher circuit board. This Flasher board will provide the signals to each bulb in the Highway Signal, causing them to alternately "Flash". Also, the circuit board provides a relay output signal to energize the Crossing Gate. Both will stay activated until the last car passes through the Trigger Track. This loop of track is set up for a Train to run counterclockwise, so the train is passing from left to right. The trigger track is located about 24" before the train gets to the crossing. All of this circuitry replaces the unreliable 153C Contactor. This now gives your layout reliable and maintenance free operation. I always solder my wire leads directly to the track for trouble free conductivity. Depotronics instruction sheet is included. I bought this Flasher Plus directly from Depotronics at a TCA Tain Meet in York, PA back in the late 1990's.
