For your consideration is this beautiful antique serving platter from Philipp Rosenthal of Kronach, Bavaria featuring a stunning grapevine transfer motif on a glossy white background, with a hand-painted gold band around the rim and double handles accented in gold. The platter measures 10 inches in length and 9.25 inches in diameter, with one compartment for serving. It is made of delicate porcelain that is handcrafted in the Bavarian China production style, and is stamped on the bottom with the Rosenthal crown and the words "R. (Crown) C. Kronach Bavaria SYLVIA 26". This mark was used between 1901 and 1927 dating the platter to between those years. Replacements lists this pattern name as "Ivy", but bottom of the plate reads "Sylvia". This platter is perfect for those who appreciate vintage and Edwardian style, and would make a gorgeous addition to any vineyard or grape-themed decor. Please note that this item should be hand washed only, and comes unboxed.
