Crafted in Italy’s post-war design renaissance, this gilded table lamp marries the playful charm of putti—cherubic figures drawn from the artistic wells of Renaissance and Rococo—with the grandeur of mid-century aesthetics. The centrepiece, a sculpted pair of putti, is a study in classical beauty, rendered in scagliola and resin and lovingly gilded in Dutch gold. The artistry of the piece is further accentuated by a patina that whispers tales of a bygone era.

Supporting this sculptural dance is a robust pink onyx base, carved and polished to a soft lustre, subtly juxtaposing the vivid gold. Notwithstanding its historical motifs, the lamp has been sympathetically restored, including a careful re-gilding and repair to one cherub, ensuring that its story continues to unfold.

A testament to both past and present craftsmanship, it offers a radiant accent to any discerning interior.

Please note: The lamp hasn't been PAT tested and come without a lampshade
