A wonderful sketchbook style book by Anthony Lister, reproducing drawings from Anthony Lister’s sketchbooks from 2002 – 2012.

The deluxe edition, additionally signed by the artist is limited to 100 copies. This book is number 13/100. There was also a trade edition of this book which was published with 2000 copies.

The publisher wrote : “A decade ago, Anthony Lister decided that he would use the same sized sketchbook to plan and experiment in before beginning anything ‘concrete’. SKETCHBOOK features selected images from the order within his chaos over these past 10 years, all bound up to look as if it were a condensed version of the real thing.”

This book has signs of wear from reading and storage, in particular marks and light scratches which can be seen across the cover. There also appears to be yellowing to the edges of the pages - I’m unsure if this is what was copied across when creating the Sketchbook and scanning the original images in, or if the yellowing is in this book itself from age. There are fingerprints and marks across some of the pages - photographed for you to review. The condition is marked as acceptable, in preloved, used, aged condition.

The LISTER written on the spine of the sketch book and the first page appear to be hand written and not printed, they both have a texture/slight rise to them (as expected when written with a marker pen).

Size of the book is roughly 22 by 15cm. There is a slight bend to the bottom end of the book from storage, please review all photos for details. I can provide more if needed. Please reach out if you have any questions.
