In the original Latin.

Half-title is present to each volume. 

With blue engraved vignettes to the title pages. 

Collated, complete.

Written by the prominent theologian Francesco Antoino Zaccaria, who was of the Society of Jesus. He was a renowned preacher, and a controversial lecturer.


CONDITION

In a quarter calf binding with patterned paper to the boards. Externally, sound. A little worming to the spine, resulting in some loss of leather. Spine label is rubbed with a couple of small chips. Loss and lifting to the tail of the spine. Minor bumping to the extremities. Crack to the tail of the front joint. Boards are a little discoloured with a few minor marks. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with only the occasional handling mark. Closed tear to the title page of Volume I.
