3x Japan Kutani Hand Painted Plate Scene Mt. Fuji & Village Gold Trim 7.4” _EUC


This beautiful plate is hand painted Japanese porcelain with a landscape shoreline scene of a hut, river, bridge and Mt. Fuji. and signed in Japanese characters Kutani 九谷 at the bottom...All decoration is trimmed by Gold.


These plates are pre WW2 from the late 1930’s. This scene in gold was first made for export in the 1930’s and stopped in 1940 during the war era... later, in the 1950’s, this popular pattern, along with many variations such as a “Windmill” and “waterwheel”, were reintroduced by Hayusi.
