Lens hood has been used, But it is not damaged in any way. Item might have some scratches from normal use. I don't see anything damaged, or any cracks, or dents (see pics).
Hood is generic brand, not made by Canon. But it looks and feels just like Canon brand hood. Good quality plastic, strong and sturdy.
