Welcome to Pop Archaeology. My listings are never made using AI, so you can always be sure you're getting a real person's description of a real object. Here we have a really unique stoneware water pitcher, circa late 1800's, likely Bennington Rockingham. Done in the signature house style of the time, an earthy yellow-to-brown spongeware ceramic. A timeless aesthetic. This one also features an attractively carved design around the neck. 7 inches tall, holds about 48 ounces.

I am not an expert (other than for books and analog photography, perhaps) so please view all pictures closely. I always speak to and try to show any flaws that I notice. If you have any questions, or if you'd like to see something closer, message me and I'll be glad to respond.
Thanks for looking, and happy hunting!
