Item up for sale is a fantastic vintage ceramic bust of Beethoven made by Alexander Backer and marked on the bust itself and on a label affixed to the underside of the base. Item stands 11-5/8" tall by 5" wide across the base by 5-2/8" front to back at the base. Surfaces show soiling and patina consistent with age and display so new owner may wish to give it a wash. Surfaces show areas of wear primarily on the hair where some surfacing has worn away with the most notable being a worn area that caused a small hole as you can see in photos. No cracks or breaks that we could see or feel. Beautifully done mid century piece that comes fresh to the market. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
