The quilt is a licensed reproduction from the limited edition "The Bride's Quilt" album applique from the Smithsonian Collection, produced in the 1990s and is a limited reporduction of Eliza Jane Baile's original masterpiece from 1851 that resides in the National Museum of American History. The quilt contains 25 unique botanical panels and is surrounds by a red sawtooth border.
This Queen quilt was part of my mother-in-laws items. I had a someone from a quilt shop come and go thru all her quilts and give me what information she could and she indicated that this quilt was VERY WELL MADE. The quilt has one small spot in the left corner (shown in pictures), but otherwise is in excellent condition. The tag has been cut off.
