For your consideration is this old and rare hand mirror. This mirror does not bear any maker's mark, but I believe this to have been made in China. This is on the smaller side and very similar in style to those made during the Art Nouveau period (early 1900s). The metal did not pass the silver acid test nor did it react to a magnet; therefore, I'm making the assumption that it is made of pot metal. On the backside of the mirror is a beautiful Chinese Dragon with a small carnelian stone. The mirror is faceted in place and appears to have been roughly cut to fit. The handle is very ornate and looks to have leaves and beetles formed onto it.
The entire piece measures 2.4 inches long x 0.8 inches wide x 5.9 inches tall. It's definitely unique and I was unable to find another one just like it online.
