Dante Veni comes from a long line of glass blowers on his mother's side, and apprenticed under Maestros Raphael Eros and Guiliano Tosi.  Among Murano glass sculptors, he is best known for his uniquely colorful aquatic-life sculptures.  Though Murano glass sculptors are renowned for their mastery of the centuries old techniques cultivated on the island, Veni is also constantly experimenting with new shapes, formulas, and tools. 

Veni produced a collection of beautiful dolphin pieces, mouth-blown from individually colored canes, which are entirely hand-made.
