COELOGYNE CRISTATA ORCHID
Medium Flowering Size Plant
On offer today is 1 of the 4 plants available as shown in the photos - all have been grown by division from my huge Cristata that I have been growing in a large hanging basket now for over 30 years. First to buy gets to choose one from the four plants, etc. but all are excellent plants and in very good condition as you can see in the photos.
Coelogyne cristata is an epiphytic orchid that comes from cool, moist areas of the eastern Himalayas and Vietnam. In its natural environment it blooms every spring, before the snow begins to melt. Its leaves are deep green and narrow, between 10 and 15 centimeters (4 and 6 inches) long. Pseudobulbs are about the size of walnuts. Flowers are quite fragrant particularly on warmer days.
Common names include "Snow Queen" and "Angel Orchid"

Shipping
Items will be dispatched within 1-2 business days of receipt of cleared funds. We are happy to combine multiple items to reduce postage, however we will never compromise the safety of items being sent.
We do not intentionally profit from postage and do not charge for boxes and packaging as we always try to use recycled materials.
When our actual postage cost is significantly less than the quoted figure (which does include a very small handling fee) if you pay through PayPal we will refund any significant excess charges after the item has been shipped.

Many of the items we offer are very old and quite likely have been used over the years. They were also manufactered using less sophisticated methods of manufacture than those in use today, and items offered will generally reflect the manufacturing methods in use at the time the item was made. It is not uncommon for items of this age to have ash specks, glaze bubbles, kiln marks etc.
We always try to ensure that any marks which impact on the presentation of the item are detailed in the item description.

Our prices are always set at what we believe is a reasonable starting price at the lower end of each items value range so everyone has a chance to win.
