Hello and welcome~

In this listing, I am offering a cute plump little primitive chicken that has been handmade by me for your display!  The chicken would look adorable sitting on a shelf inside of an old cupboard, on top of an old dry sink or on the kitchen counter.  Dottie can be placed anywhere you would like a bit of primitive country or farmhouse spirit!

The chicken is made out of coffee/vanilla stained osnaburg and has been stuffed firmly.  I color washed the entire chicken with "Antique White" paint mixed with a coffee stain.  It dried to a nice aged appearance.  I painted her "comb" and her beak and they are accented with hand stitching.  Dottie has large brown dots all over.  Her eyes are small black seed beads.

I stitched small round stained wood spools to her bottom which she stands on very nicely.  I tied a piece of jute twine around her neck and added a small prim tag with her name...."Dottie".

This chicken measures about 8-1/2" tall to the top of her tail.  She measures about 7-1/2" long.
