About Artist :

Ke Jiusi, Yuan Dynasty calligraphy painter and collector. Confucianism in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces recommended Ke Qianzi as a scholar. Influenced by his father, he developed a love for calligraphy and painting from a young age. In the first year of the Tianli era (1328), he was recommended by a scholar who traveled to Jiankang to meet King Huai Tu Timu Er. Soon after, King Huai succeeded to the throne and became Emperor Wen Zong. He was awarded the title of Zhengqi Dian Rui Yuan Du Shi. The following year, he was promoted to Zhengwu Grade Kui Zhang Ge Jian Shu Ph.D., specializing in the identification of gold and stone calligraphy and painting collected by the court. After the death of Emperor Wenzong, he returned to the south in his attire and retired to Wu Yu's Songjiang Marriage Bridge. He is knowledgeable and proficient in writing ink and bamboo, and is skilled in painting landscapes, figures, and flowers. A lifetime of good cultural relics, rich collection, and exquisite appreciation.
