Inulin Powder:

1kg

KNutrition Inulin is a white powder which has a mild odour. This product’s certificate of analysis is available on request.

Inulin is a type of soluble fibre that is found in a variety of plants, including chicory root, Jerusalem artichoke and garlic. Unlike other types of fibre, inulin is not broken down by the human digestive system. Instead, it passes through the gut unchanged and is fermented by gut bacteria which can help improve gut flora. This fermentation process produces short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), which are thought to have a number of health benefits, including improved gut health. In addition to SCFAs, inulin powder also helps to promote the growth of beneficial gut bacteria, making it an important prebiotic supplement. In terms of dosage, the recommended amount of inulin powder is 2 - 3.5g grams per day. This can be taken in the form of a supplement or added to food and drinks.
