For your consideration is this antique Dugan Glass Company compote dish, a stunning addition to any collection. With an iridescent peach opalescent color, honeycomb design of overlapping pinwheels, and ruffled & crimped edge, this carnival glass piece is truly unique. The short stem and iridescent finish add to its beauty, while the round shape and 6.7 inch diameter make it perfect for displaying fruits or other decorative items.

According to The Journal of Antiques & Collectibles, Dugan produced their iridescent carnival glass from 1905 until 1907, making their pieces more on the rarer side. It is an original piece, not a licensed reproduction, and is made of glass using early American pressed glass production technique. There is a small chip on the very corner of the base...not that noticeable due to it being on the clear glass portion, otherwise, it is in beautiful condition. Its geometric theme and art nouveau style make it a great gift for all occasions, such as birthdays, baby showers, or business gifts.
