The non official olympic 50p first & 2nd edition missprint error completer medallions

This Lot of medallions are a missprint batch error, they where made for the first edition red themed olympics royal mint book & the other side made for the blue second edition themed one, the story was apparently the royal mint lost the licence to this red olympic logo book after the olympics ended so went ahead and produced their own 2nd blue book with a different non logo 123 podium medal alongside.

PLEASE READ:
these are display filler altered coins, they are slightly altered from the original, they are for display collections when people have the real coin in a blister pack or royal mint pack, and don’t want to devalue it by taking it out and putting with the rest in albums folders etc, generally the fronts are perfect but the backs have an alteration, some are also made silver plated to give a proof like finish. You can tell from the portrait side on some they are not the real original item, they are not legal tender coins, some have the word copy under the portrait. they are just splendid looking medals or tokens.
