Gorgeous Shaker Design Oval Finger Lapped Oval Box Great Color No. 5 Size 6 ¾ inches 

Wonderful condition on this accurate and faithful reproduction; probably from 1970s.  It’s a gem!

The color is a lovely soft opaque ochre wash; just like the Shakers used; the finish is soft glow original.  There is uneven faded color on the top.

Joined with copper tacks and very small wooden pins (around the top and bottom edges)

Substantial weight; very sturdy.

Signed on the bottom: GUILD OF SHAKER CRAFTS     SPRING LAKE,  MICH   with the   Shaker Tree of Life logo.  The Guild were Shaker enthusiasts producing top rated Shaker reproductions and spreading the news.
