For sale is Ellen Ewing: Wife of General Sherman, by Anna McAllister. The book is hardcover, about 6.25" x 9" with 379 pages, including the index.  It was published in 1936 by Benzinger Brothers, New York.  It is illustrated with 25 photographs and drawings.  The book is in very good condition. The most noticeable issue is that four pages (169-172) have become separated, and were reattached into the book with tape.  Since the tape is old and discolored, although still holding well, this occurred a long time ago. No illustrations were affected.  There are no marks or writing in the book, except for the lightly penciled name and address of the previous owner lightly penciled on the front endpaper, see images.  A bookdealer has also noted defects on a few pages, but these are only light marks.  The binding is tight and square.
