For your consideration is this vintage mid-century modern Thomas Industries Carriage light fixture, a stunning piece that will add character to any space. The piece features a 4-panel glass with an etched atomic starburst design, which is made of most likely lead crystal. The glass has a dome top and straight sides, a beveled edge, and is held by a bronze metal frame with side metal panels that attract magnet while the rest does not.
The light fixture can be taken apart and measures 12 inches in height, 6.6 inches in width and item length, and weighs 3 pounds and 7.3 ounces. The product is a pendant type fixture and made of brass and glass. It is a vintage original dating back to the 1970s by Thomas Industries. Please note that this product contains lead, which is a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm according to California Prop 65 Warning.
Condition: Glass has no chips or cracks present. Nice patina to the housing.
