Film Comment  - Summer 1964

Film Comment started in 1962 as a quarterly, and switched to bi-monthly since 1972.  Included here is a very early issue the Summer 1964 issue.    Edited by Gordon Hitchens.  The issue is  8-1/2" X 11" and is 64 pages.   This is not a library discard copy.    Very faint erased pencil mark on the top right corner of the 'Content's page - a former price written in pencil.    Some rubbing wear to the back of the cover.   No further writing besides that erased price.  "Saddle Stitched" binding - two staples in the center - is tight and and pages are intact.

The Table of Contents page for the issue is included in the attached photos, highlights include;

Anniversary Awards - Survey of Unsuccesful Applicants For The Ford Foundation Film Grants - Carl Forman in Israel - Toward Visual Cinema - Fordham Film Conference - Reviews of The Organiser and The Silence, Book Reviews.

Since there are ads in the magazine, this will be mailed out USPS Ground Saver, not Media Mail.
