Vintage brass case key wind "Helmsman" E537-001 ships bell clock with wood & Brass stand. Clock is 5 3/8 inches diameter, 3 inches deep, dial face is 4 inches diameter, 8 3/4 inches across spokes. Weight is 4lb 10oz. As Is! Clock is not working click for mainspring is not holding, not engaging, case is tarnished, bottom spoke is missing. I do not have the winding key! Metal clock face with black Arabic 12 and 24 hour markings is in good condition. Marked Seth Thomas German Movt." on the face. Marked "Helmsman E537-001 Seth Thomas Div of General Time Corp Thomaston Conn USA" on back of case. Wood base is 10 1/4 inches long, clock is 9 inches high on the stand. Engraved brass presentation plaque "Presented to Ptl. John S Istel by members of harbor precinct Oct 1967" on lower right side of base. original adhesive "Model; Helmsman Base Finish; brass Catalog no 1602 ...." label on bottom of base.
