All Répétition Squelette models pay homage to one of the oldest crafts in Germany and Europe: engraving or Guilloche.

Today there are very few specialists left who have mastered these ancient craft techniques. NIVREL revives the techniques in the Répétition Squelette series. In addition to the watchmaking work, these watches contain no less than three different types of skeletonization and engraving: The bridges and plates of the repeater are first hand-engraved and then hand-skeletonized. The clearly visible star wheel (underneath it is the hour scale of the repeater) is also hand-engraved. The hour wheels and change wheels of the repeater are also provided with a ray-wave guilloche.

The model presented here is the Repetiton Squelette from the Skeletonization series. All models in this series feature hand-skeletonized movements, with hand-made movement bridges, some rhodium-plated or made of 18 kt. Rose gold or 18 kt. Palladium white gold made.

Automatic movement based on ETA 2892-A2 caliber, with hand-skeletonized and hand-engraved repetition module. The flywheel is hand-skeletonized and individually numbered. Our repetition mechanism is attached to the base movement. The repetition module strikes the previous hours with a single strike on a gong, then the past 5-minute increments with a slightly offset double strike on two gongs
