1950s Cyma, R.414 KA, Mens Sub-Seconds Wrist Watch, All Original, Keeping Time
Worn cosmetic condition, the dial is faded / marked around the top edge.
Heavy wear to the case, most of the original chrome plating has worn off - the current look has a lot of 'character', though it would benefit from a polish / re-plating.
The strap is worn, but still useable - it is the original strap & so we have left it as it is.
The hands adjust fine. The crown is well worn & should be replaced.
Cyma R.414 Movement;
Balance swings freely, winds / runs fine - performed exceptional on the timegrapher; keeping time to within 2 seconds per day, great amplitude and only 0.4 beat error.
What the watch is currently lacking in cosmetics, it makes up for in it's performance, particularly as there are few service marks in the case back.
