Civil War Union Sack Coat - US Army Fatigue Blouse - Enlisted Coat - Size 40

Also known as a Fatigue Blouse, the Sack Coat was the standard uniform coat worn by Union enlisted men during the Civil War.

After the beginning of the war, the sack coat quickly became the favored coat of the Union infantry. It was simple and utilitarian. Even other branches of service who were issued more elaborate coats were also provided with a sack coat for fatigue or campaign wear.

Our Union sack coat is true to the original in cut and construction. It features four buttons for closure and an inside breast pocket.
