This is a beautiful, delicate-looking, deciduous shrub with wiry twigs that burst into life in late winter and early spring when the crimson buds open to display pale pink flowers. The young leaves are long and pale green, growing darker with age, and turning glorious shades of red and orange in autumn. It has a compact, rounded shape and a gently spreading habit, which makes it an excellent shrub for small gardens, or for a Japanese-style garden.

We pride ourselves on recycling and reusing as much as we can so not all our plants come in pots sometimes we use potting bags so its easier we are able to post them to you. We use paper packaging so you are able to compost it. As an sustainable company we understand cutting plastics out of our delivery chain is crucial to us and our future. so yes the packaging does not look pretty but it is saving our planet. Please check your plant online as sometime the growth will differ from the images.
