A powerful documentary that stands the test of time to show the extreme gift of one history's best female directors. Leni Riefenstahl, a woman under the Nazi regime in Germany, become one of Adolf Hitler's most prized talents, creating powerfully moving and beautifully visual films. None showcase her talents better than OLYMPIA - her documentary of the 1938 Olympics, which were held in Berlin, Germany during the Nazi regime.

This DVD contains both Part I: Festival of Nations and Part II: Festival of Beauty. This is the original GERMAN language version, there is NO ENGLISH AUDIO and NO ENGLISH SUBTITLES. Although the programs are presented entirely in GERMAN, they are primarily visual with German narration that is easy to decipher in large part to the accompanying visuals as well as the country name, i.e., USA/America, Italia, Deutschland (Germany), Brazil, etc.

From my private collection. The DISC is in good condition and shows one medium length scratch and a few shorter ones, all of which are light and do not affect the playback, which tested perfect - no issues. The CASE is in good condition and shows normal shelf wear, i.e., scuffing, and some scratch marks. The ARTWORK is great, no issues. There is no insert.
