Purchased from Material Culture in Philadelphia. They purchased a lot of miscellaneous Asian items from a local museum and this strainer cup was one of the items. They simply labeled the item, "Antique Chinese Pottery Artifact". Very unusual form. The strainer appears to be handmade Yixing clay with a typical two-character mark on the handle. I was unable to find a comparable piece. The cup was damaged and repaired with adhesive. Museum catalog markings on base. The strainer cup measures 3" wide, 1.5" deep, and approx 5" long from handle to tip. Shipped with USPS mail.
