My LJ Torana is officially up for sale. It's ready to go to a good home, someone who can add the final touches and get her over the finish line.

As much as I would love to keep her it's time for a change of season.

What you get:

- Holden Feb 1972 LJ Torana SL 6 Cylinder 2850 – I am the second owner from new.

- Comes with all 3 matching tags.

- All rust was repaired when the car was completely re-sprayed.

- I have meticulously removed almost every nut bolt & screw, had them Stripped and re-zinc plated to CASA standards that give a factory look but with superior quality.

- A professionally built car (over $50k spent) that has been meticulously worked on to the highest standard utilising my skills as a qualified Car, Truck & Aircraft Technician

Interior:

- Seats were completely stripped, bases sandblasted and painted then re-trimmed in black with Houndstooth highlights.

- Door Cards have been replaced and trimmed in factory LC GTR style for that classic look – Plastic is still on the chrome strips. Door handles, window winders and armrests are supplied.

- Roof lining has been trimmed.

- Scuff plates are re-zinced and absolutely mint

- Dash has been re-painted. Gauges and lower dash panels have been professionally restored including new silver detailing.

- All new window seals, bailey channels and door strap seals have all been replaced.

- Window winder mechanisms, door latch mechanisms and door striker plates have been re-zinced.

- The rearview mirror has been re-plated and fitted.

Exterior:

- Full respray in 2Pac Diamond White.

- Rims resprayed in 2Pac black with New  XU1 centre caps and wheel nuts & new chrome dress rings.

- Brand new tyres, 205/60 13”s fitted in Jan.

- GTS-style mirrors that have been painted to match.

- Full interior floor and boot coated in sound deadener.

- Underside of the body has been completely coated in a black stone guard.

Driveline:

- Diff has been painted and built with 3.36 ratio gears, a highly sought-after ratio.

- Rear Springs have been powder-coated black.

- Upper and lower diff arms have been painted and new bushes fitted.

- Gearbox cross member painted in 2pac black.

- New front wheel bearing fitted to freshly powder-coated hubs with brand-new studs.

- Brake booster rebuilt with fresh powder-coated booster mounts.

- Manual pedal box has been painted and reinstalled.

- Wiring loom is all installed and labelled to make it easy.

What’s left to do:

- Install engine and gearbox.

- Comes with 173 & Trimatic.

- Finish restoring the steering column and rack I started restoring them.

- She’ll need a fuel tank, brake lines, carpet, sun visors and heater, they are all available from rare spares, I can also put you in contact with a few Torana spare parts specialists who are very helpful and reasonable on price.

- The bars are not perfect, new ones are readily available.

- The left side door lock & mechanisms are all zinc plated and ready to be fitted.

- Door strikers have been re-zinc plated and need to be fitted and adjusted.

- yet to have its first polish and some minor touch-ups, paint is supplied.
