The Pump Hose:

If you have a gas mask and like aromas you have found the best, most controllable and safest way of enjoying aromas of your choice with your gas mask.

This original pump hose will give you true, on-demand aromas; the amount you want, when you want, with no fumbling around. No repeated juggling of bottles, bottle tops, tissues or cotton wool and filters.

Made with precision by me, the creator of the pump hose, each hose includes my own design of stainless steel and flow restricting connectors. Two stainless steel connectors are used to fasten the bottle top rigidly to the silicone tubes and a polymer connector attaches the rubber pump bulb.

Made for any gas mask with a standard 40mm connector, this genuine vintage hose has been thoroughly cleaned and adapted to include the aroma pump system. Fit one to your favourite gas mask, add some aromas to the bottle and screw it on to the hose. Each squeeze of the bulb will send aromas and air into the hose and your gas mask – you only get aroma when you pump. A few quick pumps – then leave it for a while.

Some history:

Necessity being the mother of invention, I started hunting for the best way to add aromas to a gas mask – I wanted an easy way myself. I tried various ideas and ended up selling some hoses to friends and to people who spotted my efforts on social media. It was then suggested that I sell them on eBay, so I finalised the design, which I continually refine, to now include carefully selected, high grade, chemically stable materials and custom manufactured components. This pump hose will provide you with the most reliable and enjoyable aromas experience possible.

One satisfied customer in the USA, with a very early version of the pump hose, wrote this unsolicited message to me –

Wanted to let you know that I received my tube the other day and got to test it out last night. it was quite amazing I am very happy with it, and the craftsmanship is great.

In January 2019 I was sent another unsolicited message by a new purchaser –

‘I received your pump and hose assembly today. Put it together per your instructions (very well done by the way). Then put in some aroma and gave it a try. Followed your breath out and pump advice and it worked like a charm. Very smooth delivery only when pumped. A very controlled and effective amount delivered with each set of pumps. I had only intended to try it out to make sure it worked but ended up with a nice little session going for awhile. The amount delivered was so consistent the whole process was very pleasurable as there were no weak or overly strong surprises.’

What you receive:

• A genuine vintage rubber gas mask hose, thoroughly cleaned with 40mm fittings and the pump system tubing and bottle top securely attached.
• High purity silicone tubing which is chosen to give maximum flexibility to allow the bottle to hang down correctly.
• Custom made stainless steel connectors are used to attach the bottle top to the silicone tubing. The stainless steel will not be attacked by any brand of aromas. 
• A custom made polymer connector is used to connect the pump bulb to the silicone tube. The connector is designed to reduce turbulence in the bottle and give the pump bulb exactly the right feel in the hand when pumping. You connect the pump bulb when you unpack your hose.
• Two clear glass bottles – a spare just in case of a breakage.
• An extra set of black polyurethane bands to replace any which may become broken over time.
• Comprehensive printed instructions with guidance on both use and care.

This, R version, has the pump on the right of the silicone tubes when the tubes are at the front of the hose. A left hand version is also available.

Unlike the black silicone tubing, the blue, red and yellow tubing is slightly translucent. Purchasers should expect the central tube to darken with use.

Multiple purchases – If you buy more than one item from my listings I will combine them into one package whenever possible. I always refund any excess payment of postage and packing when I return from the post office.

Confidentiality – All items are sent in plain, padded, mailing packets, labelled with the purchaser’s name and address, there is no indication of the package contents. If complete confidentiality is required, UK purchasers should opt for click and collect to an appropriate participating retailer.

Purchases posted to outside the UK must have a Customs Declaration label with brief detail of the package content, approximate value, and weight. I use Pump Hose as the description.

DHL Packstations and P.O. Boxes – Because I ship internationally using Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed, it is not possible for me to send international purchases to DHL Packstations or P.O. Boxes.

A rebreather bag will only work with a suitably modified gas mask. The pump hose should be attached directly to the gas mask and any rebreather bag or additional hoses or bubble bottle should be connected to the female end of the pump hose.
