The readers act as a slave device to the access controller and cannot independently monitor the door. MCT68ME terminals enable reading the serial number (CSN) of an EM 125 kHz or Mifare® proximity card. The readers are equipped with a set of input and output lines, which in most cases enables complete door operation without the need to use inputs and outputs located on the access controller or expansion module. The reader provides three NO/NC input lines, two transistor outputs and one relay output. Each output can be turned off (so-called normal polarization) or turned on (so-called reverse polarity) in the idle state. Communication with the controller takes place via the modified RS485 standard, which allows the creation of star and tree cabling structures. The communication bus to which the reader is connected can be up to 1200 m long and made using any type of signal cable. MCT68ME has a 4-line LCD display and a set of four programmable function keys, which include: can be used to select the T&A registration mode. The reader is recommended for use as a work time registration terminal.
