Antique Spanish Hand Hammered Copper Pitcher 1693

From the Antique Collector himself: "Antique Spanish Hand Hammered Copper Pitcher Dated 1693.

The pitcher is hand hammered & has primitive brads to secure the handle. The natural aging of the pitcher is very visible on this unique piece of history. The pitcher is in very good condition for its age but does have a slight lean from the bottom not being completely straight. -- see photos The pitcher has an old crack ~2 inches long on the upper neck. The pitcher has engraved or stamped text that read "AL MAYOR CRAL L.S. GRIFFINE - CON AFECTO G RAL E. G. VELAZQUZ H MATS TAMPS - 1693. -- unsure of translation exactly or history of this rare piece BUT from research I found AFECTO translates to (fondly affectionately). I am guessing this piece is of Spanish origin but I am not certain. The pitcher measures ~7 inches in diameter and 9 inches tall. Awesome collectible or display piece!!!
