Constructed and assembled within the United States, the Berkey PF-2 Elements are engineered to diminish fluoride and arsenic levels in drinking water. These filters effectively remove:

- Fluoride: including Sodium Fluoride, Sodium Fluorosilicate, and Fluorosilicic Acid.

- Arsenic: specifically Arsenic V and Arsenic III once it has been pre-oxidized.

- Various other heavy metal ions that may be present as residuals.

The materials used in the construction of these filters are BPA-free Polypropylene #5, ensuring they are safe and do not leach harmful substances. They are available for purchase in pairs.

Designed to work exclusively with the Black Berkey Purification Elements, the PF-2 Elements attach directly to the bottom of these Purification Elements and are positioned within the lower chamber of any Berkey water filtering unit. It is critical to maintain an equal number of PF-2 and Black Berkey Purification Elements within your system; thus, if you have four Black Berkey Elements, you must also use four PF-2 Filters.

Each pair of Berkey PF-2 Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements is built for longevity but requires replacement after filtering approximately 1000 gallons of water. Additionally, these elements come with a six-month warranty, ensuring their effectiveness and quality.
