The Pit Boss Dutch oven is designed for the outdoors with features like three built-in legs to support the oven over burning coals, a stainless-steel bail handle for hanging over a campfire tripod, and a built-in notch for inserting a thermometer without ever having to remove the lid. In addition, the tight-fitting lid can be used as a side griddle, it works to seal in heat & moisture, features a flat surface for stacking extra ovens, and has a rim around the edge to prevent stacked coals from falling in your food when lifting. The Pit Boss cast iron Dutch Oven is pre-seasoned & ready to use right out of the box. The kettle holds 8 quarts, has a 14” diameter, and can easily accommodate recipes for 16 or more. Built-in side handles let you take the Dutch oven from the fire to the table with ease. Care instructions: Rinse the skillet with water only. Dry well. Season whenever the bottom starts to lose its well-oiled shine.
