It´s has been quite some time since i sold vintage electronic here on Ebay.
I´ve decided it´s time to stock down a bit since i have
to much to handle in my appartment.

This listing is for:



1 Philips / Amperex  E88CC / 6922.  Tested as a perfect balanced tube at 17.0 and 18.0mA where 15.0mA is the nominal value for an unused tube.
The codes are  "Delta"8G and it was made at Philips tube plant in Heerlen 1958. It is the very desired version with the curved D-getter! It comes from a surplus sale a long time ago. Tested and sealed up by the Swedish army in the late 50s or early 60s.
Re-tested by me on my AVO MkIV a couple of weeks ago. A tube cant be more "NOS" than this one.
It is tested good for gas,shorts and leakage.
Needless to say that it is an excellent tube for audio use. 
I would say that it is a stunning tube and i can not come to think of another tube that sound as sweet,and yet natural and detailed,as this one. Quite unique if you ask me. I only have two but i let this one go to a new home and keep the last one myself.
